Originally released in 1985, Slave to the Rhythm is Grace Jones's seventh studio album and one of the key works of her career. Conceived as a kind of sonic biography produced by Trevor Horn, the album features different variations around the same song, blending experimental pop, sound art, and a production style strongly influenced by the eighties.

This picture disc vinyl edition from the Back to Black series brings back the album with eight tracks, respecting the original structure and highlighting Grace Jones's voice, theatricality, and visual imagery.
